[092011] - More on trash talks. Honestly, I felt cold as I read this. I do not have the idea if he’s telling me the truth. What if he’s only joking? What if his feelings for me is just an admiration? I don’t trust people easily kasi e, especially when they say “I love you”. They’re kind of abusive, right? LOL. I’m a kind of Puritan kasi. And mind you—I’m kinda mataray when comes to love.
I do not abuse the word “I love you” because as a good girl, I’ve made a promise inside the church that I will only say those words to my first and last boyfriend, or let’s say, my future husband in front of the altar someday. Ahihi! Kung may dumating, e di dumating!
[091711] - Some Like It Hot (1959)
Directed by the great Billy Wilder and co-written by his frequent partner I.A.L. Diamond, “Some Like It Hot” stars Marilyn Monroe in probably her most famous role over. I do love Marilyn Monroe. Ever since I’ve saw her face in our Philip’s Millennium Encyclopedia, I was enticed by her exuberance and charm.
When I’ve read about Some Like It Hot in the Reader’s Digest, I’ve been too eager to watch this movie. Is it me or is it because of Marilyn Monroe? HAHAHA.
The first time I saw this film, I loved it instantly, not only for the comedy, but for the boundaries it pushed for its time.
Marilyn Monroe, I’ll always be your biggest fan. :)
